MANILA, Philippines — Hot and humid weather will prevail anew on Monday, with possible rain showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) .
“Overall, makakaranas ng mainit at maalinsangang panahon ang buong kapuluan. Sa hapon at gabi ay may tsansa ng thunderstorms. Wala po tayong binabantayan na sama ng panahon na posibleng mabuo o pumasok sa Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) sa loob ng unang limang araw ng buwan ng Hunyo,” Pagasa weather specialist Ariel Rojas said in a 4 a.m. weather update that the

No gale warning has been raised by the weather bureau.
“‘Yung ating mga kababayan na mangingisda at ‘yung may maliliit na sasakyang pandagat ay malaya pong makakapaglayag (Fishermen and those with small vessels are free to venture out in the country’s waters),” added Rojas.
