23 more patients recover from COVID-19 in Las Piñas
MANILA, Philippines–From Wednesday to Thursday, 23 patients have recovered from COVID-19 in Las Piñas City, the city health office said Friday.
The patients were from BF International-CAA, Daniel Fajardo, Manuyo Dos, Pamplona Tres, Pulanglupa Dos, Talon Dos, Talon Tres,Talon Singko, Almanza Dos, Elias Aldana, Pulanglipa Uno and Pilar, according to City Health Office Chief Dr. Ferdinand Eusebio.
“Ikinatutuwa ko ang malaking bilang ng paggaling ng mga pasyente at nagbigay ito ng magandang impresiyon sa pagbuti ng kalagayan ng COVID-19 cases sa ating lungsod,” Eusebio said.
As of today, May 29,2020, Las Piñas has a total number of 274 cases, 131 recoveries, 31 deaths, 10 probable and 56 suspected persons.
Eusebio said the city health office has intensified its screening and contact tracing to residents who were exposed to people who tested positive for coronavirus disease.

Article continues after this advertisementCurrently, the city targets about 150 to 200 rapid and swab testings to be conducted daily, Eusebio said.
A total of 3, 349 persons have undergone swab tests and 2, 495 rapid tests as of May 26.
Mayor Imelda “Mel” Aguilar welcomed this development.
“Patuloy po ang mga hakbang at suporta ng ating lokal na pamahalaan para mapigilan ang pagkalat ng virus sa ating siyudad,” she said.
