/ 04:20 AM May 30, 2020

A Chinese national who was reportedly looking for food was arrested in Pasay City on Thursday for violating quarantine protocols.

Pasay City Police chief Col. Deanry Francisco told the Inquirer that Jihua Yang, 33, of Barangay 76, had no quarantine pass when he was nabbed around 10:45 p.m. along JW Diokno Boulevard corner Coral Way.

Also arrested for the same violation was driver Jan Ramirez, 28, of Manila. Pasay City policemen “chanced upon [both] roaming around despite several notices of ordering them to return and stay at home,” a report from the Southern Police District said.
