BAGUIO CITY—A 5.2-magnitude earthquake shook a wide area of Luzon, including Metro Manila, on Thursday afternoon but the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology and disaster response agencies did not report any casualty or damage.
The quake struck at 1:17 p.m., 17 kilometers northwest of San Fernando City in La Union. It was felt at Intensity 4 in San Fernando City, Caba and Balaoan, all in La Union; and Dagupan City and Labrador and Bolinao in Pangasinan. Intensity 3 was felt in Baguio City; Urdaneta City and Villasis in Pangasinan; Quezon and Marikina cities in Metro Manila; and Obando in Bulacan. —INQUIRER NORTHERN LUZON
