2 Chinese nationals arrested in raid on another unlicensed COVID-19 hospital in Pampanga

Authorities in Angeles City on Thursday (May 28) raided an unlicensed medical facility believed being run by Chinese nationals to treat COVID-19 patients.

Agents of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) and local police also arrested two Chinese nationals and seized COVID-19 testing kits from the facility at the village of Anunas, Korean Town in Angeles.

Representatives of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) were also part of the raiding team.

The facility was discovered more than week after authorities raided a clandestine hospital at a posh residential village in Clark Freeport.

Two Chinese nationals were also arrested in the Clark hospital, which was raided by the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group, FDA and the Clark Development Corp. on May 19.
