MANILA, Philippines – Vice President Leni Robredo and Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto inspected the Community Mart project in the Pasig Mega Market on Thursday, a day after it was launched, to ensure that safety measures are being implemented.

Vice President Leni Robredo visited on Thursday, May 28, 2020, the Pasig Mega Market in Pasig City, where her office launched its Community Mart program this week, in partnership with the City Government of Pasig. OVP

Both Robredo and Sotto met with members of the Community Mart, a mobile application-based store where shoppers can purchase groceries from markets online — to avoid direct contact and minimize risks of local coronavirus transmission.
