MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 3.8 earthquake rocked Davao Oriental on Wednesday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
The earthquake struck at 3:33 p.m. at 91 kilometers southeast of Governor Generoso town.
The tremor was of tectonic origin and had a 62-kilometer depth of focus.
Phivolcs said that the quake was also felt in Alabel, Sarangani at Instrumental Intensity II.
No aftershocks or damage were expected, Phivolcs added.
