Postpone classes for the year, lawmaker urges

MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Education should postpone classes for the whole year instead of resorting to video conferencing, Ang Probinsyano party list Rep. Ronnie Ong said on Sunday.

He said students from remote areas do not have access to the internet and electronic learning technology so it would only add to parents financial and emotional burdens.
