PAGADIAN CITY—Authorities have filed charges against five suspected drug peddlers in Dipolog City whose drug den was busted in a raid by police and anti-narcotics agents last Wednesday.
The suspects, all young women, are all residents of Dipolog City. They maintained a drug den in a residential house in Barangay Galas, on the outskirts of the city.
Charged for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 were Kimberly Sienes, 21, Shiene Almerol, 18, Honey Gin Ibao, 20, Kissie Ajos, 18, and Archres Bulnes, 20, said Maria Felina Bacha, chief of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency in Zamboanga del Norte.
Operatives recovered some 15 grams of suspected shabu or crystal meth with estimated street value of P120,000, along with paraphernalia for using drugs.
The PDEA said that Sienes was among those they monitored and targeted.
She was said to be the main person who maintains the house in Barangay Galas.
The suspects are currently held at the Dipolog City police station.
