The patient from Sto. Tomas town was discharged from the La Union Medical Center on Wednesday morning, said Pangasinan Governor Francisco Ortega III in a statement.

On the same day, a 3-month-old baby, who caught the virus, was discharged from the Ilocos Training Research and Medical Center.

Ortega said it had been eight days since the province recorded new infections. Based on the newly released test results, the province said 15 suspected cases did not contract the disease.
