According to the latest road crash statistics report of the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA), there were 17,382 road accidents on EDSA in 2019, the highest among the 16 major roads in the city listed by the MMDA.
Of the total number, 19 crashes were fatal, 1,446 others resulted in nonfatal injuries, while 15,917 resulted in damage to property.
