MANILA, Philippines — The easterlies or wind blowing from the Pacific Ocean will bring hot and humid weather, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
This weather condition is expected to bring isolated rains especially in Visayas and Mindanao, Pagasa weather specialist Meno Mendoza said in a 4 a.m. weather update.
Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers also due to easterlies and localized thunderstorms.
Pagasa warned of flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
“Wala naman tayong binabantayang sama ng panahon sa loob at labas ng Philippine Area of Responsibility,” Mendoza added.
(We are not monitoring any weather disturbance inside and outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility.)
Pagasa said the minimum temperature recorded at its weather station in Diliman, Quezon City was 27.4°C at 6:00 a.m. while the maximum temperature is expected to be 34.0°C at 1:50 p.m.
