MANILA, Philippines — After ordering the closure of shopping malls, Cavite Governor Jonvic Remulla on Tuesday detailed the conditions for the commercial establishments’ resumption of operations.

In his Facebook page, Remulla said this includes limiting the time of  limited individuals inside the premises to one hour.

(There will be a quota on the number of people who can enter the mall. After one exits, another person can enter.)

Remulla explained that safety marshals will check the mall goers’ time card and will be escorted outside once they only have 10 minutes left.

In supermarkets and groceries, Remulla said the public’s “conscience” will be their time limit.

(Remember, only a number of supermarket carts are allowed inside. If one exits then another person is allowed to enter. If you think that it’s your right to stay longer, where is your conscience? Other people also need to buy their needs.)

Playing music inside the mall will also be prohibited, Remulla said, to prevent the public from  lingering in the premises.

Apart from these, Remulla said malls’ operating hours must be from 10 am to 5 pm, with only one entrance and exit. He added that mall security should implement social distancing measures.
