Iriga drug suspect falls; P170K shabu seized

LEGAZPI CITY – Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency operatives seized an estimated P170,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) from a drug suspect following a buy-bust operation in Iriga City on Sunday, the PDEA-Bicol regional office announced on Monday.

Rodel Abina, PDEA provincial agent, said Rafael Juico, 31, resident of Barangay San Francisco, was arrested in the drug sting at the City Central Terminal in Barangay San Roque at around 5 p.m.

Juico’s companion Aldrin Tanada, however, managed to escape.

PDEA agents seized from Juico 25 grams of shabu.
