MECQ areas to get second tranche of cash aid
MANILA, Philippines — Areas under modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) would be among those that would receive the second tranche of the cash assistance under the government’s social amelioration program, presidential spokesperson Harry Roque said.
He said that the Office of the Executive Secretary would release a memorandum on the details of the distribution of cash aid. But he said the areas under enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) would be the first to receive the assistance.
The cities of Cebu City and Mandaue City are the only ones under ECQ.
