DSWD seeks P662-M quick response funds
MANILA, Philippines — The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) has sought an additional P662 million in quick response funds (QRF) from the Department of Budget and Management (DBM), its spokesperson confirmed on Saturday.
“We requested DBM for the replenishment of the QRF in the amount of P662 million. The QRF is a standby fund used to cover relief and rehabilitation in cases of disasters and calamities,” DSWD spokesperson Irene Dumlao said.
The QRF is separate from the funds for the Social Amelioration Program.
