OFWs now allowed to resume work abroad
Land-based and sea-based overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) may now be deployed abroad as long as they sign a declaration saying they are aware of the risks involved, presidential spokesperson Harry Roque said.
The deployment ban on health-care professionals, however, remains.
Only health-care workers who have signed employment contracts as of March 8 will be allowed to leave the country. —JULIE M. AURELIO
