Over P500K worth ‘shabu’ seized in Naga City drug sting

LEGAZPI CITY, Philippines  — Over P500,000 worth of suspected shabu (crystal meth) was confiscated from three alleged illegal drug pushers in a buy-bust on Saturday night in Naga City in Camarines Sur.

Master Sergeant Tobias Bongon, Naga City police spokesperson, said suspects Antonio Sto. Domingo, 32; Allan Diaz, 44; and Teofilo Reyes, 39, resident of Bula town, also in Camarines Sur, were caught selling shabu to undercover police operatives at around 10:15 p.m. in the residence of Sto. Domingo in  Barangay (village) Del Rosario.

Seized were 24 sachets, weighing 80 grams, of shabu with street value of P544,000.

The suspects are being held at the city police detention facility while waiting for formal filing of charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
