Coronavirus cases in PNP now at 131
MANILA, Philippines — The number of confirmed coronavirus disease (COVID-19) among members of the police force is now at 131, the Philippine National Police (PNP) said Friday.

According to data from the PNP as of 6 a.m. showed that of the number, four have succumbed to the viral disease, while 49 managed to successfully recover.
Meanwhile, the PNP also listed 465 police members as probable cases, and 422 were classified as suspected cases.
Suspected cases, according to the Department of Health, are those with COVID-19 symptoms but have not been tested yet.
As for probable cases, they are said to be suspected carriers of COVID-19, but are awaiting their test results.
Article continues after this advertisementAs of Friday, the total number of coronavirus cases in the country is at 10,463, with 696 fatalities and 1,734 recoveries.
