Tesda opens technopreneurship program in NegOr

THE Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (Tesda) initially launched the Tesda Specialista Technopreneurship Program (TSTP) in Negros Oriental.

Tesda information officer Geraldine delos Reyes said the project aims to organize national certificate level II graduates into small entrepreneurial groups.

“These graduates will be guided by Tesda, in partnership with local government units (LGUs), until they can do business on their own,” said delos Reyes.

In Dumaguete City, five community-based service groups are organized with 10 members each.

The members include workers in computer hardware servicing, welding, building/house and maintenance services, automotive/vehicle maintenance service and appliance repair services.
