BOCAUE, Bulacan –– A 39-year-old man posed as a food supplier for frontliners in an attempt to smuggle P150,000 worth of illegal drugs through a police quarantine checkpoint on Thursday afternoon (May 7).

Anthony Medina of San Jose del Monte City was caught red-handed with 25 grams of shabu (crystal meth) as he drove through Barangay Lolomboy at 2:50 p.m., police said.

Medina claimed he was carrying food for policemen manning checkpoints. He turned out to be on the local drug watch list.
