DOT organizes mercy flights for stranded tourists

The Department of Tourism National Capital Region office is assisting in the transport of stranded domestic tourists to and from Metro Manila through mercy flights at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.

On Wednesday, a Cebu Pacific mercy flight transported to Davao 275 domestic travelers as well as overseas Filipino workers stranded in Manila because of the lockdown.

The flight returned with 238 domestic travelers from Metro Manila who got stranded in Davao during the enforced quarantine. —JEROME ANING
