Back to ECQ for 4 Calapan City villages on May 7
CITY OF CALAPAN – Four villages in this city will revert to Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) status starting Thursday, May 7, Calapan Mayor Arnan Panaligan said on a Facebook post Wednesday night.
This is after four city residents from the villages of Pachoca, Balite, Sta. Isabel and Managpi turned out positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
The four patients were exposed to a COVID-19 patient while the city was still under the extended ECQ last month.
On May 1, the ECQ status of Oriental Mindoro was lowered to General Community Quarantine (GCQ).
Panaligan clarified that for the rest of the city of Calapan, while under GCQ, will still be implementing regulations similar to ECQ.
Establishments which are allowed to open under GCQ will have limitations and regulations for implementation.
