SAN ANTONIO, ZAMBALES — An 8-month-old baby girl is one of the two new positive cases of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Olongapo City.
The infant is the youngest reported case of COVID-19 in the city, although it was not immediately known how she contracted the virus, Olongapo City Mayor Rolen Paulino Jr. said.
Paulino said the baby is now in stable condition.
A 29-year-old female health worker who works in Bataan also tested positive for the virus. She is in a stable condition and currently isolated in a hospital in Bataan.
The two new COVID-19 patients raised the number of cases in Olongapo City to 11. Local health officials also recorded 75 suspected COVID-19 cases in the city as of Tuesday.
