MANILA, Philippines — President Rodrigo Duterte is offering a P30,000 reward to those who will report government officials pocketing cash aid from its social amelioration program, Malacañang announced Monday.

“Just call 8888. Of course, if you want aid, leave your name and telephone number. And if it’s proven that your complaint of corruption against local officials who are stealing aid that the government is giving, the President will give you a reward of P30,000,” Roque said in a televised address.

This is in accordance with the President’s “zero tolerance” on corruption, he further said.

Duterte offered the reward after railing against Danilo Flores, a Hagonoy, Bulacan village councilor who supposedly stole from the social amelioration funds.
