MANILA, Philippines — The body of the woman found stuffed inside a brown trolley bag abandoned at the Naia terminal was identified as belonging to Nepz Bahjin, Pasay City Police Chief Superintendent Melchor Reyes said.
Reyes said Bahjin’s body was identified by her relatives.
Reyes said Bahjin, 20-year old, from Patikul, Sulu, arrived from Bahrain at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, January 10.
Bahjin’s body was found by a car park security guard on Wednesday morning.
Reyes said Bahjin’s body did not show stab or gunshot wounds.
He said police investigation was ongoing to determine the perpetrators and motive behind the killing of Bahjin.
When found, the body of Bahjin had contusions on her face and was clad in a light blue blouse and black leggings.
About two hours after Bahjin’s body was found, police also found a male dead body stuffed inside a drum on Tolentino Street, also in Pasay City.
Reyes said the man, who had tattoos in his body, has remained unidentified.
