Palace: Bacolod City to be placed under ECQ
MANILA, Philippines — Bacolod City has been included in the list of areas where an enhanced community quarantine (ECQ) will be enforced starting May 1, 2020, Malacañang announced Thursday.
In an online Palace briefing, presidential spokesman Harry Roque said that the following areas will be under an ECQ to prevent the further spread of COVID-19:
-Metro Manila
-Region III except Aurora
-Region IV-A (Calabarzon – Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal and Quezon)
-Pangasinan

-Bacolod City
-Davao City
This came after Bacolod City officials urged President Duterte to include their city in areas where strict movement restrictions will be imposed.
