Farmer killed in gun attack in Masbate town

LEGAZPI CITY — A farmer was killed by four assailants in the town of Mandaon, Masbate province on Tuesday (April 28).

Police, in a report, said Orlando Misamen, 34, was just sitting in front of a repair shop when he was shot by four men on motorcycles at the village of Cabitan.

Misamen suffered multiple gunshot wounds and died on the spot. Police found spent bullets for .45 caliber pistols.

The motive for the attack was unknown.
