Oil companies cut pump prices anew

MANILA, Philippines — Pump prices fell further after crude oil prices last week went through another price crash. Pilipinas Shell, Seaoil, PTT, and Phoenix Petroleum cut prices of diesel by P1.80 per liter and of gasoline by 20 centavos per liter, effective 6 a.m. on April 28.

Shell and Seaoil also slashed prices of kerosene by P2.15 per liter.

Amid a lack of storage facilities and anemic demand, Brent crude prices fell by 20 percent.

As of this writing, Brent crude oil futures were trading at $20.56 per barrel, sliding from $25.57 per barrel a week earlier.
