There were 200 new registered cases of HIV in the country in October 2011, based on figures from the Department of Health. This is 92 percent higher than the 104 cases reported during the same period in 2010 and brings the total of reported HIV cases in the country to 7,884 since 1984.—Schatzi Quodala, Inquirer Research
