The results of the 2019 bar exams will be released on April 29, but on the Supreme Court (SC) website, the high court announced on Thursday, citing restrictions amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
It added that no visitors will be allowed to enter the Supreme Court compound on that date nor shall the list of bar passers be posted in the premises.
The 15 Supreme Court justices will still hold a full court session before announcing the results, but Senior Associate Justice Estela Perlas-Bernabe, who chairs the 2019 bar examinations committee, will not be able to deliver her message before the hopeful lawyers and their families in the Supreme Court grounds.
Her message will be uploaded in the court’s website. —Dona Z. Pazzibugan
