MANILA, Philippines — Barangay Molino III in Bacoor City, Cavite will be placed under total lockdown from April 24 to April 30 due to the spread of the coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
All minor roads going in and out of Barangay Molino III will be closed and barricaded by the Bacoor-PNP, City Mayor Lani Mercado Revilla said in an executive order.
No resident of Molino III may go out of the bounds of the barangay, while non-residents of this barangay may enter the boundary checkpoints.
Residents of Molino III who are exempted from the lockdown are persons identified by the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases; OFWs and government employees who will check in at Bacoor’s community quarantine facility; and suspected and confirmed cases being transported to community isolation facility and referral hospitals.
A 24-hour curfew will be enforced and new Quarantine ID Pass will be issued for all households in Barangay Molino III with very limited use.
There are 66 confirmed COVID-19 cases in the city, 12 of whom came from Barangay Molino III.
The city likewise has 11 recoveries and 9 COVID-19 related deaths.
