MANILA, Philippines — Business process outsourcing firm Optum Global Solutions Philippines will donate $500,000 (or over P25 million) to Caritas Manila as funding for food and hygiene kits for residents of low-income communities during the health crisis, the company said.

Optum Global Solutions is part of the UnitedHealth Group Company, the largest health maintenance organization in the United States.

This is part of the initial $10 million that the group allotted to support the struggle against the COVID-19 pandemic in countries where it operates.
