MANILA, Philippines — Quezon City has recorded 20 new coronavirus disease (COVID-19) cases, the city government said on Saturday.
The new cases bring the total number of positive COVID-19 cases in the city to 1,016.
Meanwhile, the COVID-19 death toll in Quezon City is now at 90, with 10 new deaths being recorded.
The city also recorded seven new recoveries from the disease, bringing the total number of recoveries to 83.
Data from the Quezon City government also showed that Barangay (village) Batasan Hills continues to have the highest number of COVID-19 cases at 36, followed by barangays Matandang Balara at 30, and Culiat and New Era with 25 cases each.
Thirty-one barangays meanwhile continue to be under extreme enhanced community quarantine.
As of Friday, the Philippines has recorded 5,878 COVID-19 cases, with 487 recoveries and 387 deaths.
