LEGAZPI CITY — Four suspected drug pushers were arrested in separate buy-bust operations in the provinces of Albay and Camarines Sur on Thursday night.
In Camarines Sur, Rolly Sarmiento, 29, was arrested in Barangay (village) Odicon in Pasacao town at around 5:50 p.m., Colonel Roderico Roy Jr., director of provincial police, said.
Seized from him were three sachets of suspected shabu (crystal meth), six sachets of marijuana leaves and a loaded caliber .22 revolver.
In Albay, Captain Dexter Panganiban, information officer of the provincial police, said Joven Copia, 30, was also arrested in a separate operation in Barangay Coro-Coro in Tiwi town at 4:55 p.m. Recovered from him were five sachets of shabu.
In Tabaco City, Jonathan Biron, 33, considered a high-value target drug peddler, and Malik Grande, 21, were arrested in Barangay Fatima at around 10:50 p.m.
Seized were two sachets of shabu with an estimated street value of P2,000.
