MANILA, Philippines—A fire hit a residential-commercial area in Baclaran, disrupting Light Rail Transit 1 operations Tuesday night, LRT spokesman Hernando Cabrera said.
In a text message, Cabrera said that as a result of the fire, train travel was shortened to start from the Gil Puyat station all the way to Roosevelt past 8 p.m.
He said that LRT 1 will resume normal operations by Wednesday.
The cause of the fire was still undetermined as of posting time.—Karen Boncocan
