Magnitude 4.0 quake rocks Davao Oriental
MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 4.0 earthquake rocked Davao Oriental on Thursday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
The quake struck at 12:42 p.m. at 74 kilometers southwest of Tarragona town.
Phivolcs said the tremor was of tectonic origin and had a 23-kilometer depth of focus.
No aftershocks or damage was expected, Phivolcs added.
