MANILA, Philippines — The Manila Health Department recorded 24 new cases of the coronavirus disease on Wednesday, bringing the total number of cases in the national capital to 368, an increase of 24 from the previous day’s 344.
Manila Mayor Isko Moreno disclosed the figures during a City Address on Implementation of CODE – COVID-19, where CODE stand for “contain and delay.”
Meanwhile, Moreno said the Health Department also documented 329 residents as “probable” and 87 as “suspects.”
Previously, the Department of Health revised the classification for persons under investigation (PUIs) for the coronavirus disease, namely probable and suspects.
Suspects are PUIs who have not been tested while probable are PUIs who are awaiting test results from their laboratories.
