Red Cross gives medical attention to more than a thousand devotees

MANILA, Philippines—More than 1,000 individuals were given medical attention by the Philippine Red Cross during the Feast of the Black Nazarene.

According to PRC Secretary General Gwendolyn Pang, they helped a total of 1,010 individuals where about 569 devotees had minor injuries and 419 had their blood pressure taken. She added there were a total of 22 patients they sent at the Ospital ng Maynila, Philippine General Hospital and the University of Santo Tomas.  Four patients were serious cases.

She added those who had minor injuries were the wounded, those who fainted, had chest pains and were dehydrated.
