READ: Duterte’s 3rd weekly report on use of additional powers vs COVID-19

MANILA, Philippines — President Rodrigo Duterte on Monday submitted to Congress his third weekly report on his use of additional powers against granted to him to address the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) crisis.

The weekly report is part of the checks and balances measure under the “Bayanihan to Heal as One Act” which gave Duterte additional powers to address the health crisis.

On Monday afternoon, the Department of Health reported 284 new cases of respiratory illness, bringing the country’s total to 4,932. Of the number, 315 patients have died while 242 were able to recover. Below is a copy of President Duterte’s second report:
