P215K worth of ‘shabu’ seized in Camarines Sur buy-bust
LEGAZPI CITY – Police seized P215,000 worth of suspected “shabu” (crystal meth) while six suspected drug personalities were arrested in two separate buy-bust operations in Camarines Sur province on Sunday.
In Canaman town, Richard Caballero, 34, and Jason De los Angeles, 25, were arrested in Barangay (village) San Vicente at around 5:15 p.m., Captain Bienvenido Enciso, town police chief, said.
Enciso said Caballero was listed as illegal drug personality in Minalabac town.
Recovered from them were seven sachets of suspected shabu with an estimated street value of P200,000.
Meanwhile, in Pili, Lieutenant Colonel Bogard Arao, town police chief, said at around 3:30 p.m., police conducted a separate anti-illegal drug operation in the residence of Johan Carlo Barandon and his live-in partner Christine Reafor, both 24 years old, in Barangay Binanuaanan Norte.
Also arrested were Mark Anthony Beria, 30 and his wife Maria Cristina, 26, in the operation in Barandon’s residence.
Barandon, a listed drug personality in Naga City, has been hiding in Pili town, Arao said.
Seized in the operation were a large sachet of suspected shabu worth P15,000, a digital weighing scale, empty transparent plastic sachets and other drug paraphernalia.
