Pagasa Monday forecast: Cloudy skies with possible rain showers nationwide

MANILA, Philippines — The tail-end of a cold front and northeasterly surface windflow are affecting the weather conditions in the eastern section of Central Luzon and Northern Luzon, according to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).

According to the weather bureau’s 4 a.m. bulletin on Monday, Quezon province and Camarines Norte will experience cloudy skies with episodes of scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.

Cagayan Valley, Apayao, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Ifugao and Aurora will experience cloudy skies with isolated rains and possible gusty conditions in coastal areas.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rains may prevail over the Ilocos region and the rest of Cordillera Administrative Region.

Meanwhile, localized thunderstorms will bring partly cloudy skies with isolated rain showers to Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

Flash floods and landslides are possible in rain-affected areas, Pagasa warned.

Pagasa said the wind and coastal water conditions will be moderate to strong in Northern Luzon, Central Luzon, and the eastern section of Southern Luzon, and will be light to moderate in other parts of the country.

Tagaytay City: 22 to 29 degrees Celsius
Puerto Princesa City: 25 to 33 degrees Celsius
Iloilo: 26 to 35 degrees Celsius
Cebu: 24 to 34 degrees Celsius
Tacloban City: 25 to 30 degrees Celsius
Cagayan De Oro City: 22 to 32 degrees Celsius
Zamboanga City: 23 to 33 degrees Celsius
Davao City: 25 to 35 degrees Celsius
