MANILA, Philippines — Fair weather is expected over most parts of the country on Black Saturday, April 11, the state weather bureau said.
In its 4 a.m. live weather update, the Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said that the Easterlies continue to affect the eastern section of the country.
The Northeasterly surface windflow, meanwhile, prevails over extreme Northern Luzon, Pagasa added.
Because of the Easterlies and localized thunderstorms, residents of Metro Manila and the rest of the country can expect “good weather”—meaning partly cloudy to cloudy skies —with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms that may occur later in the day.
“Wala po tayong binabantayang sama ng panahon or low-pressure area na maari pong makaapekto sa ating bansa in the next two to three days,” weather specialist Sheilla Reyes said in the live weather update.
(We are not monitoring any weather disturbance or low-pressure area that may affect our country for the next two to three days.)
