GUINOBATAN, Albay—Three relatives of the Naga City patient who died of complications from COVID-19 tested negative for the disease on Wednesday (April 8), the city’s mayor said.
At a press briefing last Monday (April 6), Allen Reondanga, public information cluster head, said that Calauag village will remain locked down until April 17 if no new COVID-19 cases emerge after that date.
The village was where the region’s first COVID-19 fatality, a 66-year-old man, lived. He suffered shortness of breath and chest pains before he died on April 3.
