Procter & Gamble to make masks for donation and for its workers

MANILA, Philippines — Procter & Gamble (P&G) Philippines will make protective masks in its manufacturing plant in Cabuyao, Laguna, the company said in a statement on Tuesday.

The company said the protective masks would not be available for sale but would be for donation and for use by their employees.

This is on top of the P100 million worth of products donated to hospitals and medical front-liners, employee job safety and security assistance and aid that it had extended to business partners.

Through this initiative, P&G Philippines aims to deal with the growing need for masks, which is timely given the recent Inter-Agency Task Force’s announcement requiring citizens to wear masks outside their homes.
