Finex elects new prexy

FINANCIAL executive Melita T. Ramos has been elected president of Financial Executives Institute of Cebu Inc. (Finex) during the association’s annual election of officers held last Nov. 24 at the Casino Español de Cebu.

Finex was founded 25 years ago. Its members are financial executives in Metro Cebu. The non-stock, non-profit and non-political group is involved in the continuing development and improvement of financial management techniques and the promotion of efficiency in government operations and business enterprises.

At present, the group has 85 members and counting.
