41 new COVID-19 cases in Manila; total now at 116

MANILA, Philippines — Manila recorded on Wednesday 41 new cases of coronavirus disease (COVID-19), bringing the total to 116.
Of the said number, 17 have died while 10 managed to recover.
In a tweet published by the Manila Public Information Office, the areas with confirmed cases of COVID-19 are Basecoo, Binondo, Ermita, Malate, Paco, Pandacan, Quiapo, Sampaloc, San Miguel, Santa Ana, Santa Cruz, Santa Mesa, Tondo 1 and Tondo 2.
The LGU added that there were also 298 persons under investigation.
Previously, Manila had 75 confirmed cases of COVID-19.
