MANILA, Philippines — A 31-year-old man landed in jail after allegedly stealing chocolate bars at a convenience store along Juan Luna Street in Tondo, Manila, a report from the Manila Police District.

A report from the Manila Police Station in Tondo on Wednesday stated that the suspect, identified as Jerremie Taghap, entered the store on Monday, allegedly took three pieces of chocolate bars, and placed them inside his pants without paying.

As the suspect was about to leave the store, the clerk followed him to retrieve the chocolates. The clerk called members of Tondo police, who then arrested the suspect.
