Frontliners welcome in Taguig church
MANILA, Philippines — The Victory Church in Bonifacio Global City (BGC) in Taguig has opened its doors to front-liners from nearby hospitals.
Since Tuesday, the church has been turned into a temporary housing facility for 39 health workers from St. Luke’s Medical Center-BGC and Rizal Medical Center.
Aside from accommodations, meals and facilities for laundry and showers are also provided. The church likewise has a team of licensed counselors who can talk to the health workers through Zoom.
In its public post, Victory said it was collaborating with hospitals “to make room for those who need it the most.”
“We pray that this temporary housing will be one avenue to encourage, strengthen and refresh our front-line workers at this time,” it added.
