PopCom to couples in Bicol: Observe family planning amid COVID-19
LEGAZPI CITY –– The Commission on Population and Development (PopCom) in Bicol has advised couples to observe safe sex practices, especially during the Luzon-wide Enhanced Community Quarantine.
“In order not to have an unintended pregnancy, the couples must practice family planning and be responsible,” said Lourdes Nacionales, director of PopCom in Bicol.
She said parents should also educate their children about the coronavirus disease.
Josephine Chua, planning officer of PopCom, said that as of 2015, the Bicol region has a total population of 5,796,989.
